Today I'm going to link you to The Drawn Thread's website and her free charts. Over the years I have stitched many of Cynthia Zittel's free patterns.
For years these freebies were given to needlework shops to reproduce and hand out to customers. But now designers have learned to offer them periodically on their websites to keep customers coming back to visit their websites and see what's new.
