October Meeting

 Our October meeting has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 6th from 10-noon at the Reston Regional Library.

September meeting

 We had a successful, rescheduled September meeting yesterday. Nice to see everyone.

Several made a nice start on the Outer Banks by Gail Stafford. Looking forward to seeing these finishes.

Chicago Seminar

 I just watched the videos put up by Fiber Talk about the first day of Seminar.

First guest in the booth, Mid-Atlantic former Region Director, Patty. Great choice! 

They showed some photos from the Exhibit and congratulations to our own, Donna P. Blue Eyes is in the exhibit.

Chicago Seminar

 The Magnificent Stitch begins today in Chicago. We have a few members attending so I'm hoping to hear of their adventures.

This year we have a unique opportunity to see what's happening in Chicago. Fiber Talk is attending and will be broadcasting from Chicago on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

July News

 Eight intrepid Oatlands members met last weekend for a two day pilot class with Terri Bay. She was delightful, the piece is magnificent, and it was lovely to stitch together in real life!

We highly recommend Terri as a teacher.

Big News

Also. Our July meeting will be in person, not on Zoom. 

We will be meeting on July 24th, at the Reston Regional Library from 3-6 p.m.

Bring your President's Challenge, an ornament for the Christmas in July ornament exchange, and a few IFFs to show off. 

Welcome to 2021

 New year equals new beginnings.

Thus even with all my in progress projects, I started two new pieces on New Year's day. My goal is to finish them by July. 

Our January meeting will be virtual on the evening of January 27th. Look for details in our January newsletter which will be out later this month.
